About TSL

Dr. Arpin is the President of Transformation Systems, working with educational organizations since 1996. She has worked extensively with boards of trustees in the area of governance. She has facilitated strategic planning processes and helped schools measure the impact of their strategic plans. Dr. Arpin has worked with international schools and regional organizations for almost 30 years. She also has extensive experience with school districts across the US.

Dr. Barone is the founder and former President of Transformation Systems, a firm committed to leadership development and systems transformation. Steve and TSL associates have worked with over hundreds of public and private sector organizations in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle, Near and Far East, South America and Africa. His work is primarily in the area of coaching but he continues to be our in-house “Jedi Master.”

Dr. Hintz is an Associate of Transformation Systems, and a former Superintendent of Schools in Indiana. He is also a graduate of the Newfield Network, an international program for the development and certification of executive, organizational and life coaches. His skills as a facilitator, teacher and administrator have assisted many individuals and teams of leaders to discover their personal and professional possibilities for action and growth.

Dr. Menard, presently serving as the Head of School at the International School of Panama, has spent her career growing academic organizations as a school leader and education consultant.  She has developed specialties in working with organizational leadership, strategic planning, and governance. She has mentored and nurtured various school leaders and teams of school leaders.  She has helped build Board/Head of School partnerships ensuring sustainability and student-centered leadership. She has served as a mentor, coach, consultant, and trainer.

Pamela Shakil is an Associate with Transformation Systems, with over twenty years of international school experience. Pamela specializes in strategic planning processes and measuring the impacts of strategic plans on student learning.  She also develops programs to build the capacity of leaders and designs and facilitates workshops and orientations for boards of trustees, administrators, faculty and staff, parent associations, alumni groups and student leadership teams. In her work with schools in countries across the globe, including Bahrain, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Pakistan, Peru, Saudi Arabia and the United States, Pamela applies a multicultural and international mindset that is a product of her experiences growing up and living as a third culture kid.
